
"TRIPPIN OUT" CONTEST RULES
These Rules are in addition to our General Contest Rules and do not negate or replace them unless otherwise stated below.
Contest Dates: Contest to be conducted beginning on January 25th, 2010 and end on March 5th, 2010.
KCXX-FM “TRIPPIN’ OUT” Contest
RULES & REGULATIONS
Who Can Enter
1. To be eligible to participate in this contest, entrants must be 21 years or older and have a valid US Driver’s License or other US government issued ID. Employees of KCXX, All Pro Broadcasting or other radio stations in the Riverside/San Bernardino area and their respective affiliated companies, distributors, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members or household members of each are ineligible. Employees of participating sponsors are also ineligible.
2. KCXX may require proof of age, identification and/or social security number prior to delivering a prize.
How to Enter
3. No purchase is necessary to enter. Only one entry per person is permitted.
How to Win – (Trippin’ Out)
4. KCXX will announce the “Song of the Week” and the “Trip of the Week” at the beginning of each week at 7am. The song will be played 20-25 times per week between 6am and 10pm.
7. When the song plays and Caller 10 is selected, he/she will win a prize from the X Vault and be qualified to win the trip of the week.
8. A grand prize winner for each trip giveaway will be announced the following announcement day (the day that listeners are notified who won the previous trip and what trip will be qualified for the current week).
9. All winners have 30 days from the date of winning to make arrangements to claim prize. Winner will be required to present themselves at the KCXX studios to pick up prize. Each winner will be contacted by Promotions to confirm trip details.
Other Rules
10. Calls into the contest line (909) 890-1010 that are determined by Station Management to be fraudulent, incomplete, inaudible or duplicates will be void and the person making such a call will be barred from further participation.
11. All phone call recordings become property of KCXX.
12. KCXX is not responsible for loss of service to the Contest Phone Number due to overload, busy signals, or any other factors that may prevent an individual from competing his/her call. KCXX cannot be held liable for (a) any lost or stolen membership entries or registrations, prizes or contest information, (b) any attempted registration or award claim that are misdirected, lost, disconnected, not fully received, illegible or inaudible, nor (c) any technical malfunction related to any computer network, software, internet access, ISP's, servers, routers, or any other technical problem that may impact registration or prize claim including, without limitation, any internet telephone call connections, fax transmission or telephone calls. KCXX and its sponsors are not responsible printing errors.
13. By participating in this contest, each entrant hereby consents to KCXX and its sponsors using the contestant’s name, voice, likeness, biographical information, hometown, his/her participation in the contest, and the substance of the contestant’s entry (in whole or in part) for on-air broadcast and for advertising and promotional purposes. Entrant agrees that no additional compensation will be paid for such usage.
14. KCXX reserves the right to make rules, contest changes and change the aforementioned contest dates. KCXX shall be the sole arbiters in all matters relating to the contest and the interpretation of the contest rules. The decisions of KCXX shall be final. KCXX reserves the right to cancel the contest at any time without prior notification.
15. Entry into KCXX contests constitutes agreement to abide by these rules, as well as any other specific contest rules established by KCXX. These contest rules supercede, to the extent only of any conflict, any applicable general contest rules of KCXX.

17. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited.
18. The payment of all federal, state and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winners. The prizes are not transferable, not redeemable for cash and may not be exchanged for other prizes, except in the sole discretion of the station and the contest sponsor. The winners will be required to execute an affidavit of eligibility, liability, and publicity release and, as applicable, all required tax forms within fourteen (14) days of notification of winning the prize; failure to do so will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize. The Station and participating sponsors reserve the right to substitute any of the prizes with a prize of equivalent or greater value. Notwithstanding anything herein to the contrary, prizes will be awarded in the name of the winners only, and awarded only to the specific winner in person upon the presentation of his/her social security number and a valid U.S. Driver’s License. If a prizewinner does not meet the eligibility requirements, or is unable to establish his/her eligibility he/she will be rendered ineligible to receive a prize and it shall be forfeited to KCXX. All prizes must be claimed within fourteen (14) days of notification of winning. Failure to do so will result in prizes being forfeited. FORFEITED OR UNCLAIMED PRIZES WILL NOT BE AWARDED. The winners will receive, as applicable, an IRS 1099 form from the Station for the full amount of their respective prizes.
