Mumford & Sons bassist Ted Dwane has issued his thanks to fans for their support following his emergency brain surgery to relieve a blood clot. The statement came on the official Mumford website this week along with a photo of the musician in a hospital room with a shorn head. The message appeared on June 17 and read: "Bear with a sore head! Thanks so much for all the well wishing, it seems to be working! I'm home. Dwane underwent the procedure earlier this month, and the group released a statement on their Facebook page last week saying it was a success and that he's out of the hospital. "It is with great joy that we can announce that Ted has been discharged from hospital and is on the road to a full recovery. The surgery went well, and the excellent medical team helping him are very pleased with his progress. He has been nothing short of heroic in how he has handled the whole ordeal."
